Schools are broke. The
State is broke. California State Historic Parks may close. Museums are
struggling to keep their doors open.
The only chance kids have of getting a quality
education is going to come through innovation.
So let's innovate!
If you're a parent,
grandparent, retired teacher, non-profit that supports schools/kids,
philanthropist, or an individual who's just interested in helping kids
and schools, then perhaps you can donate some of these programs to the
schools of your choice.
PTAs this is a
great educational program for you to invest in for your individual
schools!
Each school will need
several copies of the program. Some to play on stand-alone computer
systems (sometimes in several different computer labs within the same
school), some for presentation systems, and others for teachers to use
to prepare lesson plans.

______________
Get / Stay in touch with your community.
Purchase these programs in bulk, check the school wish list to see what
schools have requested them. and then deliver the programs directly to
the school requesting them. That gives you and your organization an
opportunity to stay in front of your community, and to be sure that the
schools and children know of the assistance you or your organization is
providing to them. Even if you drop the program(s) to the schools
yourself, we suggest that you:
1. Make sure it's addressed to the correct contact person as shown on
the
County List.
2. Include a "Donated by...." card with your donation so the school
knows which organization to thank. There may be several within your
county that are participating. |
