Participation in the California History Bee is free and as many students from your school as want to can participate.

If you wish to obtain the Prep Program to help you prepare your students, (not necessary but suggested) than please explore the information here..

If you have trouble funding the purchase of the number of programs necessary for your children, but would like to participate, we suggest you contact your local history museum, Rotary Club or other philanthropic organization in your area to ask them to sponsor your school. You might also contact the county contact on the right side of this page and see if they know of what organizations might adopt your school.

If you can't find a sponsor, please contact us. We'll do our best (but can't promise results) to find a philanthropic organization to donate a copy of the program to your school.

Be sure you include in your message:
Your name
Your school name
address (including County)
phone number
and email address

Also include the number of copies of the program you need and the approximate number of students who will participate in your school.

AND please drop us an email when your request have been filled so sponsors will be able to offer future donations to other schools in your county.
